April 18, 2026 // Ceremony and Reception at the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion
Ashley and Jeremy had a memorable wedding, complete with meaningful touches and nods to Mobile, under the giant live oaks at Bragg-Mitchell Mansion. The couple met three years prior and have been inseparable ever since. Coincidentally, the day the couple met was the same day the groom met with his business partners to present his idea for Penton’s Bistro & The King Bleu Corner Bar, the restaurant they now co-own and where the groom is chef. During their relationship, the bride moved from Jacksonville, Alabama, to Mobile and on her wedding day, she intentionally chose vendors from the area to honor the Port City and the place she now calls home.
Blue, pink and white florals climbed the columns of the mansion, framing the couple as they said their vows in an afternoon ceremony. The bride carried a white bouquet, which featured the bride’s “something old” and “something blue,” a pin her sister made that sports a sapphire and a photo of her parents on their wedding day 49 years ago. Music and food from Penton’s kept guests energized as they took to the dance floor. All enjoyed drunks as the newlyweds drank from chalices that were the same ones the groom’s parents used for their wedding over 50 years ago.
After a night under the string lights and stars, the couple exited the venue through bubbles and a crowd of their family and friends, wishing them well on their new adventure together.
