1. He-Shed/She-Shed | Porte Cochere

Aqua Decor and Design styled this space as an outdoor living room complete with a large TV mounted on the wall, comfy outdoor furniture with room for friends and even a small dining table to enjoy a meal. With the mild weather along the Gulf Coast, this space, with its generous protection from rain and wind, is a weekend mainstay. Inspired Closets Mobile built a fabulous pair of he-shed/she-sheds for whatever hobby the homeowners can dream up; potting, woodworking or just tinkering can all be accomplished, and then covered up, by gorgeous sliding doors from Luke Phillips.

2. Wood Paneling | Kitchen

The heart of every home is the kitchen, where family and friends tend to gather — and linger. It is easy to imagine long chats over the chopping block in this restful kitchen with window views extending from three walls and an expanse of exquisite oak-paneled cabinetry by Aiken Design & Construction on the fourth. Aiken used nickel gap paneling milled from oak trees taken from the site to craft the stunning kitchen cabinetry. The design for the rest of the home’s finishes was inspired by this lovely wood.

3. Styler | Laundry Room

On the third floor of the home, adjacent to the master suite, is the upstairs galley. Part laundry room, part kitchenette, this multi-functional space makes light work of household chores. A beverage fridge for water bottles or wine, a coffee maker and microwave allows for easy mornings on the master porch without ever stepping foot downstairs. The styler, however, is the real showstopper. The LG styler from Mobile Appliance is a laundry game changer, refreshing garments in minutes, sanitizing and reducing allergens and drying delicates with its Smart Wi-Fi-Enabled Steam Clothing-Care System.

4. Elevator

For hauling in your heaviest loads, or for those who need a little extra assistance, the home has a top-of-the-line elevator that reaches all three floors. Built with windows and glass doors, the elevator ensures that you can age in place in this stylish home.

5. Master Porch

The master porch, nearly 40 feet off the ground, brings the living spaces outside with a deep, covered roof for protection against the elements while enjoying the panoramic vista of the arboretum treetops. A deep swinging bed, handmade by Luke Phillips, is the ideal spot for lounging and enjoying quiet days at home while soaking in the fresh outdoor air. The ropes from which the bed hangs continue the natural aesthetic seen throughout the house, and metal cable railings on the porch ensure the views are unobstructed.
