A classic venue, sophisticated design and celebrating with their loved ones combined to create a wonderful wedding day for Jasmine and Cedric. The couple married at the historic Battle House Hotel, and the bride worked with Nigerian designer Matopeda to create a custom strapless dress featuring intricate crystal detailing, coordinating with the elegance of her wedding celebration. She accessorized with crystal drop earrings and a crystal hairpin to complete her look.
The ceremony was both exuberant and emotional as the couple said their vows and honored their loved ones, both those in attendance and those in their hearts. The groom’s late mother, who passed away just a few months before his wedding, was honored in an emotional tribute and throughout the wedding weekend. The first kiss led to the couple’s joyous exit, and all in attendance joined the newlyweds for the reception at the hotel.
An abundance of flowers and a pink and gold color palette gave the affair an added layer of elegance as all enjoyed a seated dinner. At the conclusion of the first dances, the music gained energy and the dance floor filled with guests in a lively celebration. Drinks, food, music and cake were enjoyed throughout the night as all in attendance celebrated the new Mr. and Mrs. Marshall.
