Kristen Levi and Lee Dzwonkowski III

Kristen Michelle Levi and Joseph Hedley Lee Dzwonkowski III have known each other for as long as they can remember, dating back to their Mother’s Day Out classroom at Springhill Presbyterian Church when they were three years old. They attended UMS-Wright together from K-4 until twelfth grade and both graduated from The University of Alabama in 2009. Kristen and Lee were united in marriage at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Mobile on Oct. 1, 2011, at 7 o’clock in the evening. The Rev. John Riggin officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ms. Paula Miller Levi and Mr. Stephen Clarence Levi, of Mobile, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Arnell DuBose and Mr. Drayton Miller, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Levi, of Mobile. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Burton Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hedley Lee Dzwonkowski, Jr., of Mobile, and the grandson of Mrs. Vaughan Inge Morrissette and the late Hiram Taylor Morrissette, and the late Patricia Symmonds Dzwonkowski.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Monique Lhuillier strapless fit-to-flare gown. Her Cathedral-length veil was borrowed from a close friend and bridesmaid, Kelly Fountain. She carried a bouquet of clematis, antique garden roses, lily of the valley, stephanotis blooms and white ranunculas. She also wore a cap of phaeleanopsis orchids and stephanotis blooms following the antique design worn by her cousins and aunts. Kristen wore a pearl and gold cross pin from the groom’s late grandmother, Ms. Patricia Symmonds Dzwonkowski, who passed away earlier in the year.

The bride chose her sister, Chelsea Elizabeth Levi, as her maid of honor. Her bridesmaids included Martha Meagan Ballard, Kelly Rawls Fountain, Kate Cannon Luce, Louise Vass McClelland, Laura Martino Morison, Allison Grace Smith, and Elizabeth Brooke Stewart. The bridesmaids wore floor-length gowns by Amsale, and carried hand-tied garden rose nosegays.
