The highlight of Mignone and Sonny’s wedding was having the family and friends of the bride and groom in one place. The wedding took place during St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Though not purposefully planned, the date happened to be the same weekend the couple started dating three years prior, giving an extra layer of meaning to the celebration. A stunning ceremony at Government Street Presbyterian Church led the newlyweds, wedding party and guests to the outside street party reception held at Fort Conde Inn; the wedding party and families all stayed in the inn’s townhomes and cottages the entire weekend. Towards the end of the night, as dancing, music and partying came to an end, guests received trucker hats with an image of the Crichton Leprechaun, which tied in the St. Patrick’s Day theme to the amusement of both the Mobilians in attendance as well as the out-of-town guests.
