Through January 5: Magic Christmas in Lights

Bellingrath Gardens and Home • 12401 Bellingrath Gardens Rd., Theodore.
5 p.m. – 9 p.m. The Mobile tradition continues with 3 million lights and 16 holiday scenes. Don’t forget to snag some hot chocolate and a photo with Santa before heading home. Tickets are $16 for adults, $8 for children ages 5 – 12 and free for children 4 and under.

Through January 7: Christmas Nights of Lights

Hank Aaron Stadium • 755 Bolling Brothers Blvd.
5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m, nightly. Pack the car with friends and family and enjoy this drive-thru Christmas light show featuring over a million lights synchronized to Christmas music played through your own car stereo. Admission is $8 per person. Children 4 and under are free.

December 11: Christmas at the Exploreum

Gulf Coast Exploreum Science Center • 65 Government St.
10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Round up the family for some winter-time fun at the Exploreum complete with snowflake science, snowball fights, peppermint playdough and the STEM Wonderland exhibit.

December 11: Christmas on the River Boat Parade

Grand Mariner Restaurant and Marina • 6036 Rock Point Road
4:30 p.m. Bundle up for the ultimate Coastal Christmas celebration as holiday-decorated boats float down Dog River.

December 11, 12: MSO Presents Joy to the World!

Saenger Theatre • 6 S Joachim St.
7:30 p.m. Sat.; 2:30 p.m. Sun. Bring the family to the Mobile Symphony Orchestra’s annual Christmas concert that has become a Gulf Coast tradition. Tickets range from $20 – $89.

December 11, 12: The Nutcracker

Mobile Civic Center • 401 Civic Center Dr.
2:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., Sat.; 2:30 p.m. Sun. This year’s performance features the return of Mobile Ballet alumna and former New York City Ballet soloist Kathryn Morgan, dancing the role of Sugar Plum Fairy on her hometown stage. Tickets start at $20 for adults and $17.50 for children, seniors and military.

December 16, 19: Classic Christmas Movies at the Saenger

Saenger Theatre • 6 S Joachim St.
7 p.m. Thurs., 3 p.m. Sun. Watch your favorite holiday films on the big screen with “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” airing on Dec. 16 and “A Christmas Carol” on Dec. 19.

December 18: Charlie Brown Jazz Christmas Concert

Saenger Theatre • 6 S Joachim St.
7 p.m. Get in the holiday spirit with this festive performance of Vince Guaraldi’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under. A portion of proceeds will benefit The Child Advocacy Center.

December 18: Holiday Homes Tour

Historic Oakleigh House Museum • 300 Oakleigh Place
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tour six historic homes in the Oakleigh Garden District, including The Historic Oakleigh House. Learn about each home while enjoying the festive holiday decor. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 the day of the tour.

December 31: MoonPie Over Mobile

Downtown Mobile
8 p.m. – Midnight.
Close out 2021 with a laser light show, fireworks, live music from Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and of course, watch the infamous 600 pound electric MoonPie drop at midnight.
