Dwell Mobile Crawfish Boil

June 1: Publix Grandman Triathlon

Fairhope Municipal Pier
7 a.m. Ready for a full-body workout? The Grandman race begins with a 1/3-mile swim in Mobile Bay, followed by an 18.6-mile bike ride through Fairhope and a 3.1-mile race to the finish line. Cost is $95 for Individual Racers and $175 for Team Racers. Proceeds benefit Mobile Baykeeper and myTeam Triumph: Southern Alabama.

June 2: Explore Mobile

Mardi Gras Park • Downtown Mobile
1 p.m. – 6 p.m. Celebrate Alabama’s bicentennial with live music, food and activities, as well as free/discounted admission to local tourist attractions.

June 6: Hootie and the Blowfish

The Wharf Amphitheater • 323325 Wharf Ln., Orange Beach.
7:30 p.m. Come see these southern rockers perform “Time,” “Only Wanna Be With You” and more with special guest Barenaked Ladies. Ticket prices begin at $50.

June 7 – 9, 14 – 16, 21 -23: “Hello, Dolly!”

Joe Jefferson Players • 11 S Carlen St.
7:30 p.m. Fri. – Sat.; 2 p.m. Sun. Follow strong-willed matchmaker Dolly Levi as she travels to Yonkers, New York in search of a match for the “well-known unmarried half-a-millionaire” Horace Vandergelder. Tickets range from $10 – $20.

June 8: AFC Mobile vs Gulf Coast Rangers FC

Lipscomb Stadium • 3610 Michael Blvd.
7 p.m. Get there early to tailgate if you want, but make sure you’re at the Lip by 7 to see the Azaleas take on cross-bay rivals Gulf Coast Rangers in the biggest soccer match of the year. Tickets are $10 for adults and free for children 12 and under.

June 8: Dwell Mobile Crawfish & Cornhole Tournament

Stewartfield • Spring Hill College
2 p.m. – 7 p.m. Compete in the cornhole tournament or just enjoy the afternoon with crawfish, yard games and live music by Fat Man Squeeze. Tickets are $30 per person or $50 per couple, with proceeds supporting refugees in our community through Dwell Mobile.

June 8: Kyser Miree Memorial Fishing Tournament

Mobile Big Game Fishing Club • 27075 Marina Rd., Orange Beach
Anglers will vie for first, second and third place prizes in the categories of red snapper, king mackerel, speckled trout, slot redfish and croaker. All proceeds from the tournament benefit Wilmer Hall. Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for children.

June 8: Dragon Boat Festival

USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park • 2703 Battleship Pkwy
8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Whether you attend as a spectator or sportsman, partake in a modern version of the Chinese water sport as teams of 21 race in authentic 46-foot long Hong Kong style dragon boats. There will also be food trucks, fashion trucks, children’s activities and more. Admission is $5, and proceeds benefit local children through the work of the Fuse Project.

June 13: Glow in the Park Movie Series

Fairhopers Community Park • 105 S Church St., Fairhope
8 p.m. Grab some blankets/lawn chairs and snacks and round up the family to watch the movie “Mary Poppins Returns” under the stars. Admission is free!

June 15: Harvest Night Series

Weeks Bay Plantation • 12562 Mary Ann Beach Rd., Fairhope
9 a.m. – 8 p.m. Pick fresh blueberries and listen to live music at this family-friendly event with food trucks, a vendor market, kids activities and more. Admission is $10 and kids 12 and under get in free.
