Audrey and Nick’s wedding day was a scenic Saturday on the Bay. The couple met when they were 15 years old, and began dating shortly afterward, becoming each other’s first boyfriend and girlfriend. Their relationship grew alongside the friendships, families and familiar places that shaped their lives, many of which were present throughout their day.
The bride wore a full lace gown with a lace veil, accessorizing with family heirlooms. She wore her grandmother’s cross necklace, created from her wedding band and those of the two generations before her, along with an heirloom ring passed down from her late grandmother. She also carried a rosary from the groom’s grandmother. The bridal party shared a touching prayer together before the bride’s first looks with her father and the groom.
Music and colorful florals greeted guests at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, the church in which the bride’s parents were married 30 years prior. Music, vows and the celebration of the Holy Eucharist made the full wedding Mass a fitting starting point for the newlyweds’ lives together. After the Mass, guests made their way to Baytreat. The venue was decorated with stunning florals and fringed umbrellas, creating an idyllic celebration by the sparkling Bay waters.
After the couple’s entrance, they shared their first dance. Food, music and dancing followed in the hours afterward, leading to a stunning sunset over the water. The band kept the energy up throughout the night to the bouquet toss, which included a special bouquet dedication to the bride’s mother. As the party came to an end, guests strolled down the pier with light-up streamers for the exit. The couple ran down to their waiting boat and sailed off into their new lives together.
