Catherine Anne Towns and Zachry Wadsworth Turner were united in marriage at Sacred Heart Chapel in Fairhope, Alabama on Dec. 29, 2018. The service was officiated by The Rev. Steven Williams.
The bride is the daughter of Ms. Dee Ann Waller and Mr. Timothy Saxon Towns. The groom is the son of Mr. Halron Waites Turner and Ms. Dawn Wadsworth Turner.
Candace Bartley Towns served as her sister’s maid of honor and Halron Waites Turner served as his son’s best man. Standing in friendship were bridesmaids Alexis Gilmore Brown, Claire Phillips Jones, Theresa Cravens Murray, Mary Herndon Nordmann, Brittany Winfield Roberts, Harriet Katherine McClelland Smith, Sarah-Waites Turner, Mary Shannon Wells, along with flower girl Margaret Rosemary McGowin. The groom was attended by friends Lance McCoy Baxter, Dustin Logan Bedgood, Wesley Kyle Dees, Jonathan Ben Ford, Robert Zane Montgomery, Wyatt Perry Montgomery, William Cody Trotter and Samuel Edward Turner.
Catherine wore a Pronovias strapless dress complemented by a one-tier scalloped Alencon lace trim cathedral-length veil and carried a bouquet of white ranunculus with mixed white flowers and olive leaves.
Following the ceremony, friends and family joined the couple for a celebration at the Eastern Shore Art Center and were entertained by the band Second Coming from Montgomery, Alabama.
Catherine and Zachry left the festivities for a honeymoon in the Caribbean island of Antigua.
