Fay McCrary Phillips and Dudley Earle Dawson IV were united in marriage at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church on January 6, 2018. The Rev. Dr. Searcy Allen Wilcoxon IV officiated the ceremony.

Given in marriage by her family and escorted by her brother, Michael Phillips, the bride wore an Alençon lace, ivory gown with a V-shaped neckline and covered buttons up the back, by Modern Trousseau. She wore a cathedral-length Brussels lace veil from Germany, worn by five other women in her family. The bride carried a fragrant bouquet of cascading orchids, roses, peonies and other white flowers by Elizabeth’s Garden.
The bride was attended by her friend, Jamie Carroll, as maid of honor, and her sister-in-law, Melissa Phillips, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Grace Barbour, Carol Galloway, Hannah Harrell, Ali McDonald, Anne Randall, Ashley Stanford and Austin Vollmer. The bridesmaids wore lavender floor-length chiffon gowns with off-the-shoulder illusion wraps and held bouquets of mixed white flowers. Scripture was read by Clay Omainsky and Ashley Gay.
Dudley Earle Dawson III was the groom’s best man. Groomsmen were Taylor Agricola, Lawrence Brown, Joseph Dennis, Will Lancaster, Blake Martin, Keith Randall, Wade Stoudenmire and Drew Thornbury. The groom and groomsmen wore black tuxedos with white ranunculus and seeded eucalyptus boutonnieres. Ushers were Rob Clute, Will Criswell and Nick Hinton.
A reception followed at the County Club of Mobile, where guests dined and danced the night away before giving the couple a sparkling send-off. The couple resides in Mobile.
