Deviled Eggs at The Noble South

“I may have grown up in the South, but here’s my confession: I didn’t eat deviled eggs until I tried the ones at The Noble South. Everyone has a deviled egg variation they are loyal to, and The Noble South’s recipe is mine. Chef Chris Rainosek tops his with bacon and ROE Caviar, making them downright irresistible. One bite and you understand exactly why The Noble South sits at the center of Mobile’s food scene and why it’s turning heads nationally.” – Jennifer Jenkins, Founder and President, JJPR

Cheeseburger from Pat’s Deli and Yogurt Shop

“There’s nothing quite like biting into a good, juicy burger full of flavor that melts in your mouth. The cheeseburger I ordered from Pat’s Deli and Yogurt Shop was mouthwatering and it was paired with a side of crispy fried okra — the perfect Southern comfort side. The food was simply delicious and the sweet couple who owns Pat’s are some of the most kindhearted individuals I have ever met! Pat’s is the perfect place where great food meets love, passion, soul and care.” – Victoria Finkley, Dance Educator, Sheffield School of the Dance and Danze 101 / Children’s Book Author

Brunswick Stew at Meat Boss

“Since the cold weather has arrived in the Mobile Bay area once again, Meat Boss has started serving their Brunswick Stew again. This hearty winter stew will warm you up with a combination of meats that includes Boston butt, brisket and chicken, as well as plenty of veggies. The meat is tender and the veggies are perfectly soft. Lightly smoky with a little hint of sweet, everything pairs well together in this dish. Dine in or bring some home to eat by a fire.” – Grey O’Brien, Business Development, Employee Liability Management (ELM)

Meat Boss • 5401 Cottage Hill Road, Mobile. 591-4842

Chicken Salad at Three Georges

“To any Mobilian, a trip to Three Georges on Dauphin Street immediately produces a Pavlovian response of craving cheese straws and pralines. But in the historic building is a lunch menu that can arguably rival your grandmother’s kitchen. The chicken salad is just one of several delicious lunch options. It is served on a warm buttered croissant and has a wonderful balance of flavors. You taste the dill and not just the mayonnaise. The setting and prices also add to the experience, both more reminiscent of 1917 than 2026.” – Stephen McNair, Director of Policy & Legislative Affairs, City of Mobile
