How They Met
We met in high school. We both went attended private schools in Mobile, Ala. I attended McGill-Toolen Catholic High School and Ryan attended Cottage Hill Christian Academy. We met through mutual friends and have been inseparable for the past four and a half years.
How He Proposed
Ryan proposed at my family’s property on Fowl River, featured in Mobile Bay’s June 2026 issue. When we began dating, the river became our place. We would have picnics, swim, host friends, enjoy the boat, fish, and sometimes just stare at the water.
When we began talking about the next steps for us, I shared with Ryan my dream of getting engaged on the property and how special that would be given the sentiment the property holds within our relationship. So that’s what he did. He had an elaborate plan to get me down there and dropped down on one knee with all of our immediate family watching from the top of the hill from the cottage’s screened in porch. He then followed the proposal with a party with all of our close loved ones.
