Sara Michelle Berthaume & William Hansen Roberts

Sara Michelle Berthaume and William Hansen Roberts were married at 5:30 in the afternoon on June 11, 2016 at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church. 

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Berthaume. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Roberts. Escorted to the altar by her father, and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a beautiful Watters gown with lace and a sweetheart neckline. The bride’s floor length veil was handmade by Christal Hall from Seams To Fit and combined lace from the mother of the bride’s and mother-in-law’s wedding dresses. It perfectly complimented the lace on the bride’s dress. The bride carried an arrangement of white hydrangeas, peonies, phalenopolis orchids and roses, created by Belle Bouquet. 

The bride chose her sister, Amy Berthaume, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Sparrow, Chelsea Cashman, Tori Ball, Melissa Carley, Katherine Metzger, Marilyn Delchamps, Savannah Shumake and Shelby Omainsky. The bridesmaids wore different styles of cloud blue dresses by Nouvelle and carried bouquets made of white hydrangeas. Flower girls were Calder Binion and Mary Hyland Zoghby. 

The groom chose his best friend, Jimmy Screven, as his best man.Groomsmen were Campbell Noonan, Aaron Wolf, AJ Cabana, Carter Terral, Jordan Jahner, Jamison Roberts, Logan Lambert and Hunter Omainsky. Hinton Mott, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer.

Following the ceremony, guests moved to the historic Stewartfield Home on Spring Hill College’s campus. Under a tent in the backyard of the historic home, the guests danced the night away to music from the band Hotwire. The white tent was strung with white Italian lights throughout. Raindrop lights were illuminated from all the trees around the tent. The beautiful day and night was coordinated by Jacquie Burkett of Jacqueline Burkett Event  Planning.

After a night filled with laughter from family and friends, the honeymooners were sent off to St. Lucia for a week full of relaxation. Following the honeymoon, the newlyweds reside in Mobile.
