Shanta and Jason were married before a multitude of guests at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Mobile. Attendees flew in from all corners of the country for the romantic weekend. Touches of yellow, the bride’s favorite color prominent in the florals, bridesmaids’ dresses and the trail of roses cascading down the wedding cake, added a hint of playfulness to the sophisticated celebration. In honor of her time as captain of the Crimson Piperettes, Tuskegee University’s dance team, the bride was joined by her Piperette sisters in a dance to Tuskegee’s “Ball N’ Parlay” at the reception. It wasn’t long before guests joined in with her, dancing until daylight and making the couple’s dreams of a love-filled celebration a reality.
