Reception at the Country Club of Mobile
Taylor and Cole’s wedding was a jubilant celebration filled with unique touches and meaningful details. The bride accessorized her satin dress with a bracelet given to her by her grandmother, which was originally a gift from the bride’s grandfather on Valentine’s Day one year, adding to the romance of the day.
After the evening ceremony at Ashland Place United Methodist Church, all went to the Country Club of Mobile reception. The night before the wedding, a heavy storm swept through Mobile, destroying the outdoor reception space. The wedding vendors expertly restored the venue, with no trace of the chaos by the time guests arrived. An abundance of florals perfumed the air while soft drapery and furniture in pastel shades of blue and green added quiet elegance. At the interactive martini bar, guests used mini cocktail shakers to create their own dirty martini, cosmopolitan and espresso martinis, creating a fun and memorable experience and a highlight of the evening.
After their entrance, the newlyweds shared their first dance to “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole before enjoying food, the company of their guests and hours of dancing. For the “His & Hers” late-night snack, the bride had the Country Club serve authentic Milo’s Cheeseburgers. The bride has worked for the company for seven years, even bringing the special sauce down to the chefs for the special day. The groom opted for a Nashville hot chicken biscuit to honor his Tennessee hometown. The day ended with an exit through streamers and rose petals.
