The Gold Standard

For the past three years, the folks at Mobile Fashion Week have been helping local fashionistas look and feel good at the same time. This year, the fundraiser is taking things to the next level with a Little Gold Dress contest. Each designer presenting in Mobile Fashion Week was charged with the task of constructing a unique gold look to be auctioned off online. The shimmery signature hue was chosen to raise awareness about childhood cancers, which are represented by a gold ribbon. All the proceeds from the garments’ sales go to Camp Rap-a-Hope, a local organization that gives kids who have or have had cancer a fun summer camp experience. Go to mobfashionweek.com to grab one of these fanciful frocks for yourself. Let the bidding wars begin!
