Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival

March 11 – 13: Festival of Flowers

Cathedral Square • Downtown Mobile
9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Thurs. – Sat., 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sun. The 29th annual festival will showcase life-sized living sculptures highlighting our Gulf Coast gifts: by land, air & sea. Eight teams comprised of local florists, artists, nurseries, landscapers and designers will create living sculptures representing the theme. The weekend also features outdoor seminars and other ticketed events with live music, beverages and more.

March 12: American Cancer Society Chili Cook-off

Canal Street • Downtown Mobile
11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Bring your appetite to this spicy competition for the best chili in the Port City! Tickets: $10 in advance, $15 at the gate. Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

March 12: Bellingrath’s Beer & Blooms

Bellingrath Gardens & Home • 12401 Bellingrath Gardens Road
11 a.m. – 6 p.m. This all-day craft beer festival and concert series will feature food trucks, a wide variety of craft brews, live music from local bands, shopping booths and more in the heart of the Gardens. Tickets: $30 – $40

March 12 – 13: Beethoven & Blue Jeans

Saenger Theatre • 6 S Joachim St.
7:30 p.m. Sat.; 2:30 p.m. Sun. Dress down and leave uplifted as the Mobile Symphony Orchestra performs Beethoven’s Symphony No. 8. Tickets: $20 – $89

March 19: Callaghan’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Street Party

March 26: Azalea Trail Run

Downtown Mobile
8 a.m. 10-K, 8:20 a.m. 5-K; 9:30 a.m. fun run. 
Thousands of runners race down the oak-shaded streets of downtown Mobile in this run presented by the Port City Pacers.

March 26: Downtown Cajun Cook-off

Cathedral Square • Downtown Mobile
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Feast on Cajun cuisine from local restaurants as part of this annual event benefiting the Child Advocacy Center. Tickets: $13 in advance online, $15 at the gate

March 26 – 27: “Peter Pan”

Mobile Civic Center • 401 Civic Center Dr.
2:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. Sat.; 2:30 p.m. Sun. Featuring choreography by Katia Garza and an original score by composer David Ott, this timeless story comes to life onstage with stellar guest artists, the outstanding Mobile Ballet Company, captivating sets and costumes, and mesmerizing video projections by Israel Rodriguez. Tickets: $17.50 – $60

March 28: Focus Women’s Conference

Mobile Convention Center • Downtown Mobile
7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. An all-day event with workshops, panels, speakers and more designed to encourage, educate, and empower women.
