The chicken breast has been brined in sweet tea prior to being cooked and is topped with a flavorful bourbon bacon jam, Wickles pickles and Alabama white BBQ sauce. This sandwich is a delicious combination of flavors made all the better when served on a toasted bun. “The Fairhope Inn not only has great food, but a complete renovation in 2019 made it one of the nicest restaurants in the area as well. During my last visit, owner Paige Dawson suggested a new entree on the menu called flounder piccata, and it was outstanding. The flounder, which is the perfect selection for this dish due to its mild flavor, is pan sauteed with a lemon caper beurre blanc sauce over a parmesan and diced-pepper orzo pasta with sugar snap peas.
