Brooke and John’s wedding day was filled with family, friends and more than a touch of good luck. Though a rainy wedding day is said to bring good fortune to newlyweds, an October rain shower took a brief intermission just in time for the outdoor wedding. The ceremony was made even more celebratory as it marked the first event to take place at The Venue at Whiskey Ridge, a Baldwin County event space built by the bride’s father. A contemporary rustic theme, featuring a simple décor of greenery and candles with gold accents, extended from the ceremony to the indoor reception, at which the couple enjoyed cake and dancing with their guests.
