Helen Ann and Colby’s wedding day was a celebration full of happy tears and intention. The day was coordinated by the bride’s coworkers at Studio08, a detail that made the weekend even more meaningful for everyone involved. The bride and groom skipped a first look, instead saving the special moment for when the doors opened for intimate ceremony surrounded by their loved ones at the Sodality Chapel at Spring Hill College. A soft rain fell outside as the couple said their vows, and the sun began to shine after the close of the ceremony, setting the perfect scene for the reception over the Bay.
The newlyweds took photos under the majestic trees on the Avenue of Oaks before heading to a large reception at Steelwood Country Club, which is also the couple’s home, to celebrate with even more of their friends. Guests enjoyed food, music and dancing as they donned “Saturdays at Steelwood” hats, and cheering on the new husband and wife on their exit.
