Star Fish and Oyster Company, 1920

Go back in time with this 1920s photograph from the docks of Mobile's Star Fish and Oyster Company.

Workers unload a bountiful catch onto the docks of Star Fish and Oyster Co., which was located at the foot of Canal Street, just south of the current cruise terminal. By 1946, the company was the largest shipper of snapper and grouper on the Gulf Coast.
