Under absolutely no circumstances should you skip the lamb shank that falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. “My wife and I love a good burger, and the GH Cheeseburger at Bucky’s at The Grand Hotel is one of our favorites. The garden pimento cheese that tops off the burger makes it a treat. The smoked ketchup, house pickles and toasted challah bun paired with a nice wine, craft beer or maybe a rare bourbon round out a delicious meal. We also enjoy sitting outside around a fire pit and watching the sun set over Mobile Bay. “Thyme on Section, nestled right in downtown Fairhope, offers a refreshing approach to some traditional options with their own unique spins. Their local produce and fresh seafood bring well-loved classics to a whole new level. The Caesar salad was reincarnated for me there! These guys turned it around. The grilled goat cheese croutons are a fun start that leads you to find hearty bits of thick-cut bacon, all mixed in with a wonderful dressing and fresh, crisp romaine lettuce.
