Louise Daly Latham and Blake Harrison Pollman were united in holy matrimony at St. Joseph Chapel on May 12, 2018. The Rev. John G. Lynes officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldred Crosby Latham Jr. The groom is the son of Mr. Page Harrison Pollman and Ms. Mary Mills Pollman.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a silk shantung taffeta trumpet gown designed by Legends Romona Keveza. She wore a cathedral-length veil with delicate lace trim that was handed down by her cousin, and a plethora of large white orchids in her hair. The bride carried a mixed bouquet of white and soft pink florals with seeded eucalyptus designed by Belle Bouquet.
The bride was attended by her sister, Michelle Latham, and friend, Ashley Gay, as her maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Meg Norton, Emi Hayden, Lauren Whigham, Kim Schoonover, Tully McAleer, Jamie Carroll, Marigny Dupuy, Ann Marie Russell, Laura Beth Jones and Mary Elizabeth Belser. Readers were Fay Dawson, Anne McEnerney and Paige Largue.
The groom’s father, Page Pollman, and brother, Bender Pollman, were his best men. Groomsmen were Jimmy Norton, Jack Mayson, Michael Whigham, John Reintjes, Stuart Wimpee, Crosby Latham III, Hunter Carrell, Joe Kogon, Joe Barbato, Brett Twilley, Garner Mills and Chris Windle. Ushers were John Mills and Nick Weaver. Mary Grace and Anne Marie Smithweck were the flower girls, and Michael and George Zoghby were the ring bearers, all cousins of the bride.
Following the nuptial mass, a reception was held at The Ezell House where the wedding party and their guests dined and danced all evening. The bride and groom exited the reception with a sparkler send-off. The couple spent their honeymoon at the Excellence Riviera Cancún Resort in Mexico, and now resides in Mobile.
