December 3, 2023 // Ceremony and reception at Bella Sera Gardens
Yulong and Andrew were surrounded by tradition and loved ones on their December wedding day. The open-air chapel ceremony enchanted all in attendance and the natural florals and greenery added to the outdoor effect. The bride, who is first-generation American Chinese, included elements reminiscent of her heritage in honor of much of her immediate family still in China. Double happiness signs, a welcome sign and touches of gold, a lucky color in Chinese culture, accompanied maroon into the bridal party as an ode to the lucky red used in traditional Chinese weddings. At the ballroom reception, the newlyweds’ seats overlooked the guests’ tables, allowing them semi-privacy as they enjoyed food, drinks and a surprise photo preview slideshow from the special day.
