Pepperoni Pizza at Lillian’s Pizza

BBQ RIB MEAL AT DRAMATIC AF
“If you are in the mood for great Southern cooking that warms the soul, Dramatic AF (which stands for Amazing Food) will not disappoint. I stopped by this new restaurant on ‘Soul Food Sunday’ and could not resist ordering a full meal of Southern comfort: BBQ ribs, collard greens, mac and cheese, cornbread and peach cobbler. The grilled ribs were well-seasoned and tender. I’m talking lip-smacking good! The greens and mac and cheese had just the right texture and spice for this Southern girl. I cannot wait to return to try the other amazing entrees on the menu.” – Allison Streeter, Principal, Council Traditional School, Mobile County School System

PEPPERONI PIZZA AT LILLIAN’S PIZZA
“Is there anything better than a hot pizza when you get back from a long day on the boat or beach? To me, it’s the best thing to have. My family’s go-to spot when we’re in Orange Beach is Lillian’s Pizza. A large pepperoni pizza with a side of cheese bread and spaghetti will feed my whole family. The pizza crust is made from a homemade dough that is then covered in pepperonis and cheese. It’s a treat that we can’t seem to get enough of!” – Thomas Pilcher, Partner, Pilcher & Grissom, LLC

OMELETTE AND FRIED OYSTERS AT THE HUMMINGBIRD WAY
“I try to frequent Sunday brunch at the Hummingbird Way as often as I can. The chef is imaginative, the atmosphere is charming, and the food exceptionally delicious and oftentimes surprising. The superb omelette with fried oysters and caviar is wonderful. I purposely eat slowly to savor every bite. No one wants a meal to end at the Hummingbird, especially on Sundays.” – Norman McCrummen, Full-time grandfather / Chairman of the board, NEST of Mobile

THE ORIGINAL BUDDHA BOWL AT WAREHOUSE BAKERY & DONUTS
“One of my favorite meals in Fairhope is the original Buddha bowl at Warehouse Bakery and Donuts. It consists of strips of grilled chicken and steamed cabbage, zucchini and squash over rice. The sauces make it extra flavorful. The dish actually comes with two sauces — a spicy mayo and a citrus soy. It’s a good idea to combine them to get a delicious spicy Asian flavor. And I always add avocado, which costs a little extra, but is worth it.” – Barry Trice, Attorney
